Senior Artist – Hair
Born and raised in Houston, Jessica has called Austin, Texas her home for the past 20 some odd years. She started her career 11 years ago here at Bella Salon working as an assistant. After traveling and earning another degree, Jessica has finally returned to the Bella family. She received her degree in cosmetology after attending the Nuvani Institute, but also holds a degree in art and design. Jessica loves how being a stylist combines her love of the creative and the chance to get to know so many types of people. She calls it “the creative people watchers dream.”
She specializes in creating beautiful bridal and formal hairstyles, as well as achieving a beautiful dimensional brunette through balayage. Jessica enjoys learning new things and is always eager to expand her mind for personal and professional reasons. Her portfolio of work includes working on the set of HBO’s Emmy award-winning film, Temple Grandin, as well as hands-on training with Kevin Murphy himself and his right-hand lady, Felicity Davis. She also continues her education and training through being an educator herself at a cosmetology school, helping develop new young stylist. Nothing keeps you on your toes quite like students who are constantly asking why and how. In her free time, you can find Jessica staying active by biking, dancing, or taking a yoga class.

- I squeak like a puppy chew toy when I hiccup. I happen to hiccup most every day, so if you hear me have no fear it’s not a wayward animal!
- I am a travel junkie and have gotten up to 20 countries visited so far. I even took the opportunity of a lifetime last year and spent half of 2018 backpacking through Europe and Asia. I am a lucky girl and always ready to pack for the next adventure.
- I paint and draw. Nothing is quite as meditative and peaceful for me as a Sunday spent outside in the sun with my pencils and a drawing pad.
