Identifying Curl Type or Pattern

Let’s start with the basics of how to identify your particular “curl type or pattern”. There are numerous ways to classify curls and waves, but we’ll start with the simplest one. One of the most common classification systems is based on a 2a to 4c scale (2 being wavy, 3 being curly, and 4 being kinky or coily). The A to C letters correspond to the tightness or looseness of the curl pattern. Once you know your curl type, you can proceed to finding the right products for your curly hair’s individual needs.
