Our History: Founded in 1990 by visionary hairstylist Josh Martin, Bella has been a fixture in the 6th Street West arts district for more than 25 years. When Bella first opened, the concept of a salon, spa, and boutique all-in-one was the first of its kind in Austin. Josh built out a beautiful space, recruited the top stylists, estheticians, and nail technicians in the city (a few of whom still remain!) and the salon quickly became a destination for the “Who’s Who” in Texas and also visiting Hollywood celebrities.
Bella has remained Authentically Austin throughout the years as our city has experienced tremendous growth. We continue to provide upscale salon and spa services in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our entire team is committed to excellence and were recognized by Salon Today as one of America’s Top 200 Salons in 2019. Josh would be proud!
